Hello! I am Chaitanya, a Brand Consultant with over 16 years of experience in Digital & Print Media, working with a diverse client base across the globe. I am a professional calligrapher specialising in Devanagari Script with 24 years of practice and hold a Doctorate in Devanagari Calligraphy.

I’m a YouTuber with 107K+ subscribers, passionate about sharing the art of calligraphy through my instructional videos. My educational videos using frugal, sustainable tools are helping over 60000 students from rural areas across India. I have conducted over 200 calligraphy workshops on various platforms since 2009. I have been intensely devoted to exploring, researching, and developing variations in Devanagari Calligraphy using traditional as well as expressive approaches. My artworks have been featured in Typism book 4 & 5 (for consecutive 2 years), TypoDay 2019, an International show - Netherlands and many more. I have been invited to deliver talks, demos and workshops on the subject of Expressive Calligraphy, Typography and Visual Communication including TypoDay and Pune Design Festival.

With a passion for teaching, I am a Design Educator and have been mentoring UG and PG students on their academic projects focussing on Typography and Calligraphy. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also published articles in design journals, and have presented at National and International conferences on topics related to design education and visual communication.
